🌊Users can now use Umee’s bridge function to bridge UMEE tokens between Umee and Ethereum!🌊 It is highly recommended that users learn about the differences between native UMEE tokens and ERC-20 UMEE tokens before bridging. Bridging transactions can be expensive depending on Ethereum gas fees. Once tokens are bridged to Ethereum, ETH transaction fees will be required in order to move them or bridge them back. In order to use Umee’s bridge, go to beta.umee.cc and switch the network in your Ethereum wallet to Ethereum Mainnet. Please note that the mainnet bridge function is not currently available on app.umee.cc, since it is still being used for the incentivized testnet. Please note that if a user does not pay a large enough bridge fee funds will not be lost. There is a timeout of 12 hours; the transaction will be reverted and tokens returned to the user. Keep in mind that only native UMEE tokens can be staked to earn staking yield, used to pay transaction fees on Umee, used for protocol governance, and used throughout the Cosmos ecosystem.
